Yo-Yo's

Hot Band from Jacksonville, FL.

Band member Ted Vaughn came up with the name in his junior year in high school. The original lineup consisted of:

Ted Vaughn, Lester Langdale, Maurice "Mouse" Samples, and Gary Tubbs. Maurice and Ted later formed another band, Deep Six with Larry Dreggors, Billy Harden and Ken Fuller (WAPE disk jockey). Lester kept the Yo-Yo's going. The lineup for that group was Lester Langdale, Ricky Foxworth, Bobby Brantley and Auburn Burrel. The group later morphed into a hugely popular band, Mouse and the Boys and Brass.

Hugely popular in North Florida and South Georgia, playing high school Junior Senior proms and graduation dances. The group later changed their name to the Dalton Gang and continued to have success.
