VELVET VILLAGE

This band once went up against the Toy Factory in a battle of the bands in their region. They booked through Hit Attractions out of Charlotte, NC.
The band played around the southeast. They had a good horn section and played tunes by Blood, Sweat and Tears, Chicago, Johnny Winter, etc. They also did songes without horns. They went to the state battle of the bands and placed third after winning in Simpsonville. The band also competed in the Greenville Battle of the bands and placed there as well.
