Dance Scheduled on Saturday Benefits Glynn Paton School
A benefit dance is planned by Debra Denis Johnson this Saturday evening from 8:30 until 11:30 at the City Recreation building at Howard Coffin Park.
Tickets are $1.25 and all proceeds will be presented to Glynn Paton Foundation in the name of Miss Johnson who is a candidate in the Tuesday's Child Fiesta Queen contest. She is sponsored the the Women's Club of Brunswick.
Dance music will be provided by the "Ultimate Reason", a five-member group that began as a combo in January, 1969.
Band members include Kathy Long on the organ; Mike Weatherington, bass; Jimmy Rentz, soloist; Terry Rigdon, drums; and Bill Baldwin, lead guitar.
Miss Johnson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Johnson Jr. She attends Glylnn Academy, and hopes to major in art at Georgia Southern College after graduation. She has taken six years of art instruction."

Kathy Long was Vocalist and played Organ (Glynn Academy High School Brunswick, GA.); Terry Rigdon played Drums (Brunswick High School); Bill Baldwin played Lead Guitar (Brunswick High); Mike Wetherford played Bass Guitar (Brunswick High); Jimmy Rentz was Lead Vocalist (Glynn Academy).
Ultimate Reason played the Brunswick area primarily.
