The band practiced and played at the Waycross National Guard Armory early on. They also played at the American Legion on Jenkins street in Waycross at the "Bee Baby Hop" sponsored by Johnny Bee Moses, local radio personality.
The band later evolved into the Fantastic Woods and later the Looney Tunes.
Jimmy Mercer and Ralph Lloyd were the two original members starting the band and remaining as the band morphed into other bands.
