After almost three months of rehearsals - on Labor Day 1962 - their new band, the Infernos, landed a gig at Pine Gardens (a honky tonk near Eagle Lake). That job would last the band about three more months.
The band played Central Florida teen circuit, Air Base Club at Barto Air Base, the Paladium Teen Club in Lakeland, frat parties at the University of Florida and Florida Southern College.
