Abacus was created at South GA College by Robert Lester Folsom (Adel), Sparky Smith(Broxton) & Bob Jones(Atlanta). Abacus played more original music than cover through out GA, FL and AL. Other members were Hans Van Brackle(Adel), Jimmy James Whiddon (Atlanta), Van Whiddon(Adel), and Don Anderson(Broxton) Alva Dickerson (Valdosta).
