Tip-Tops

Tip-Tops

Hawkinsville, GA

1968 - 1970

The Tip-Tops started as a garage band called the Man-I-Yacks in 1965 and morphed into the Tip-Tops as they moved toward R&B and Frat Rock. The picture at the top of the page was taken in 1967. Check out the tip-tops.com web site.  They have an original song by Joe South on the Hey Baby Days CDs also on their web site.

Thanks to Timothy Mixon for all of the information about the band and especially for the great pictures! Tim played with the Tip-Tops from 1968  - 1970.

Here are some photos from the Man-I-Yacks days (pronounced Maniacs)
