Hickory Wind CD

The Hickory Wind Band was started in 1990 for a Gram Parsons Tribute in Waycross, Ga.. Bill Lowery released a CD single on his Southern Tracks Label in 1990. The members are Billy Ray Herrin, Dave Griffin, Tony Cason, Steve Glisson, John Smith and Bill Smith. The Band pays tribute to Gram Parsons each year in Waycross at The Gram Parsons Guitar Pull and Tribute Festival at The Okefenokee Fairgrounds. In 2015 The Hickory Wind Band played in Winter Haven, Fla. for a Gram Parsons Tribute.
